FAQ: Why use THOMSON Battery Tester

1.       The battery Tester is for decades/hundreds-cell String/group (DC/UPS station supply standby) maintenance inspection.

The battery string cells should be matching each other.

As few wrong cell would drag of others good cells as wrong-cell will discharge longer and charge shorter...

So engineer need find the wrong cell and replace with new combined cell-string

(Which usually not replace by new-cell but same-lot-cell or same string-cell.)

2.       There are no rule standard criteria for good battery or bad battery of all world decades-thousands type cells standard.

But the about 30% cell-resistance changing as industry rule by comparing to new-cell record and same-string other good cell.

Which is as well as for NiCd battery but NiCd battery is few used for hundreds-cell-string DC supply station since now (maybe high cost).
